Scouting Report:

Currently the NFL all time leader in yards per punt, with 47.6, Shane Lechler seems to get better with age. Now 35 years old, Lechler is a regular at the pro bowl, and continues to be a valuable weapon for the Raiders. In 2011, booming an 80 yard punt over the head of Devin Hester and eliminating the possibility of a return is just one example of how he can change a game. He is one of the veteran leaders of this team, and one of the longest tenured Raiders along with Sebastian Janikowski. His records show that he is one of the best of all time, and he has a great chance to become the first punter to be enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
