Scouting Report

Brandon Myers has had a relatively unimpressive career so far. His atrocious run-blocking has prevented him from seeing consistent playing time. Linebackers have ease shedding his blocks, allowing them to make a play in the backfield. Myers isn’t a great receiving tight end, but he is successful at finding a soft spot in zone coverage and making the catch occasionally. Myers won’t wow anyone with his performance, but he has a small cap hit this year and has familiarity with Carson Palmer.  It is worth keeping Brandon Myers as the 2nd or 3rd tight end on the roster.
