Denver Broncos Pre-Draft Schedule Breakdown
Denver has been arguably the most talked about team this offseason, thanks entirely to You Know Who. Come September, all the talk will be over and this Bronco team with such high hopes will have to take the field amidst the circus that will be following Peyton Manning.
All four AFC West teams were dealt difficult schedules this season; however, I think Manning’s presence alone sets them up to deal with it as well if not better than the other three teams in the division. That said; they’ll be involved in some real battles literally every week of the season. As I said with the Chargers breakdown/preview, these predictions are assuming all needs are filled and there won’t be any more personnel changes before Week 1 (Which there most certainly will be). Without further ado, here is how I see the season playing out for Denver:
Sep 9 Steelers-W
Sep 17 @Falcons-L
Sep 23 Texans-L
Sep 30 Raiders-W
Oct 7 @Patriots-L
Oct 15 @Chargers-W
Oct 28 Saints-L
Nov 4 @Bengals-W
Nov 11 @Panthers-W
Nov 18 Chargers-W
Nov 25 @Chiefs-L
Dec 2 Buccaneers-W
Dec 6 @Raiders-L
Dec 16 @Ravens-L
Dec 23 Browns-W
Dec 30 Chiefs-W
Overall Record (9-7)

Wow, leave it to a Raider fan to screw up simple counting. Even IF you were right on this predicted season, the Broncos’ record would be 9-7, not 8-8.
And besides, your prediction is going to be way wrong anyway. The Broncos will sweep the AFC West this year, and there’s no way they’ll lose to Atlanta. They’ll be 11-5 at worst.
My bad, jackson3793. Good looking out. I fixed that, but the boss will still probably dock me a week’s pay.
I can’t see them sweeping the west, not when KC’s head coach was the bane of Manning’s existence for the first decade of his career.
9-7 might be good enough to get to the playoffs. That was good enough for the Giants to win it all last season.
